Sam is a graduate of Oneonta High School. He then went on to graduate from Jefferson State Community College where he earned his degree in funeral service. Pam is a graduate of Etowah High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville State University and her Masters degree from the University of Alabama. Sam has been in funeral service since 1972. Pam retired in 2002 after teaching at Etowah High School for 25 years. They both currently manage Morgan Funeral Chapel. They are also members of Cherry Street Baptist Church where Sam is an active Deacon and Pam is music director. Their pride and joy is a Scottish Terrier named "Gracie".

Verlyn has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1975. He was born in St. Clair county and has lived in Gallant and Attalla for 52 years. He has been in the funeral business for thirty-six years, thirty-one of which have been with Morgan Funeral Chapel. Verlyn and his wife Annie have one son, one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter. He is also a member of First Baptist Church of Gallant.

Kenneth is a graduate of Glencoe High School and a 1991 graduate of Jefferson State Community College. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is also a certified crematory operator by The Cremation Association of North America. Kenneth has been on the staff of Morgan Funeral Chapel since 1989. He and his wife Mary have five children and reside in Gallant.

Don is a 1969 graduate of Ragland High School, 1979 graduate of Gadsden State Community College, and 2001 graduate of Jeff State Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science. He served apprenticeship at Gober Funeral Chapel in Arab, AL and completed his apprenticeship at Morgan Funeral Chapel. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer as well as a certified crematory operator. Don is a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and a lifetime member of VFW Post 10408 in Glencoe, AL. He has been a resident of Glencoe for 32 years and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church for 52 years.

Noble graduated from Gupton-Jones College in 1937 and received his license in 1937. He has worked in the Gadsden area funeral business since 1944. Noble has one son, twin daughters, two grandsons and is a member of First Baptist Church. He is also a member of the Civitan Club and was an Etowah County Coroner
Joys Morgan Peterson - Office Manager

Office Manager
Joys is a graduate of Geraldine High School. She attended Snead State Community College, UAB and The University of N.D. with a degree in business. She has worked in the business office for Morgan Funeral Chapel since 1996. Joys is a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She's also a member of The Eastern Star and a supporter of The Wounded Warriors. Joys was a professional singer and travelled extensively from the age of seven until she retired in 1985. She is Sam Morgan's Aunt, has three sons and a daughter-in-law.

Emily is a 2005 graduate of Southside High School. In 2007 she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Jefferson State Community College where she earned an associates degree in Funeral Service Education and was a 2007 Outstanding Student in Funeral Service. She completed her apprenticeship with Morgan Funeral Chapel before becoming a full-time employee in September 2009. She is a licensed crematory operator. Emily is a member of Rainbow Church of Christ and a volunteer for the Etowah County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
